Brunchette doesn't just excel at brunch — this is a top spot for birthday celebrations, too! I have a 2-year-old niece, and I love that she can find fun, tasty options on the menu while adults can sip on their famous mimosas and lattes no matter whose birthday we're celebrating.

The team behind Brunchette has long been a part of the Boise restaurant scene. In June 2021, the Godsill Company, longtime owners of the Treasure Valley’s Sunrise Cafe locations, introduced a new, uniquely Boise concept known as the “Brunchette.” The trendy new concept is an acronym that accurately describes what the restaurant is about.

All their dishes and drinks are Instagram-worthy. The food, whether it’s something savory like one of their eight Eggs Benedict dishes or something sweet like their brioche French Toast, looks so good that you want to lick your phone. The pictures I've seen of the French toast are EXACTLY why it's what I ordered the first time I went and let me tell you, it tasted as good as it looks! (Cool bonus? The ingredients that bring these yummy dishes together are locally sourced.)

Then, they take birthday celebrations to the next level with a secret birthday menu — the birthday boy or girl gets to pick one free item from the birthday menu, and it's only available on your birthday. You can order delights such as French Toast Shooters topped with huckleberry crisp, strawberry cheesecake, apple fritter, and blueberry with lemon cream. They also have a Waffle Cream Pie, which is topped with homemade whipped cream, confetti sprinkles, and rainbow party cake bites. It's hard to pick what to order when there are so many good choices!

My birthday is coming up in February, and the staff at Brunchette gave me a little preview of what I have to look forward on my big day. I wasn’t expecting the sparkler and singing, which was super awesome! There were a few servers who saw what was happening and asked their tables to join. Those tables ended up singing too!

With food and drinks that are just this fun and tasty, it's no surprise that all three of the Brucnehtte locations can get busy, especially on weekends! You can avoid long waits at the restaurant by getting on their online waitlist. The faster you're seated, the faster you can dig into a sparkly drink!

When it comes to brunch, the weekend crowds here in the Treasure Valley do NOT mess around. There's a little bit of everything around town but we learned over the weekend that there's something special about the locally owned and operated Huck House Brunchette here in Boise, Idaho.
