Saturday Night Live and Ghostbusters star Leslie Jones made her return to Twitter over the Labor Day weekend, less than two weeks after her official site was hacked with racist messages and alleged personal information and photos of the comedienne.

Jones made her return to Twitter on Saturday Sept. 3 by declaring her love for The Golden Girls and then tweeted an endorsement for the HBO comedy Vice Principals starring Danny McBride.

It wasn't until Sunday that Jones acknowledged her absence, proudly stating that she will "always get back up."

Meanwhile, People reports that the U.S. Department of Homeland Investigation has stepped in to investigate the source of the hacks that affected Jones. Jones' official site, JustLeslie.com, remains offline.

The website hack was the latest in a series of bullying targeting Jones. In July, the comedienne quit Twitter after she was sent a barrage of hateful tweets by Internet trolls. The hashtag #LoveForLeslieJ began to trend after several celebrities -- including Anna Kendrick, Angela Bassett, and Brie Larson -- voiced their support for Jones.

She will next be seen in the upcoming 42nd season of Saturday Night Live, along with various returning cast members including Kate McKinnon, Vanessa Bayer, Cecily Strong, Bobby Moynihan, and Sasheer Zamata.
