It typically takes place on the second Sunday in June, but when summer fun is taking place, many don't realize that June is at the halfway point already. There is still time to get something or make plans, but if you are mailing something to your dad, you might want to pay extra to make sure it gets where it is going on time.

All three states offer great places for camping, hiking, fishing, and even hunting. These states are great to get outdoors and enjoy some time with a dad who is an outdoorsman. There are great lakes and rivers to enjoy on a boat, in a kayak, tubing, or for a dip. If none of those are your dad's style, there are great places to eat as well. Make sure to make time for your dad this weekend, even if that means making a call to him, enjoying time with him, or reflecting on the time you spent with him if he is no longer here.
