When it first settled in that I would be moving to Idaho from South Texas, I'm not gonna lie I didn't know what to expect. I honestly can say I am not sure that I could have identified where Idaho was on the map before receiving the offer to work here. Since being here, I've been fascinated by the constantly changing weather, the beautiful scenery, and of course, the food.

The thing is, a lot of people don't get to experience what Idaho or Boise has to offer. Instead, they're drawn to the idea that Idaho is a desolate state that is made up of farms and mountains. If I'm being honest, it's not exactly the worst image to own but it's not what Idaho is.

Being that Texas is the only other state that I have lived in, I made quite a few friends and have had a few family members reach out to inquire about what life is like in the Gem State. Before we get to the best questions, let's look at the honorable mentions.

Honorable Mentions:

My sister-in-law: "Where do all the potatoes grow?"

An old boss: "Bro you gonna be out here looking like a French fry."

A friend from high school who I never talked to that messaged me on Facebook upon realizing that I moved to Boise, Idaho: "How much does it cost?"

Now that you know what we are working with, let's dive into the craziest questions that outsiders are actually asking about the state of Idaho.
