How Much Idaho Is Expected To Spend On Valentine’s Day
Heads up, y'all! Valentine's Day is right around the corner and if you're like a lot of people, you're probably left wondering what your partner wants for the day of love.
Now, if you're like some people, you're probably thinking:
"VaLeNtiNe'S DaY iS a MaDe Up hOliDaY fOr MoNeY"
While you might be right, it doesn't change that you and your partner will be surrounded by people receiving gifts, attention, and of course, love.
Oh, don't you worry - there will be plenty of money involved
According to the National Retail Federation, consumers plan on spending $25.8 billion on Valentine's Day this year, or an average of $185.81. They also say that on the flip side, 29% of consumers don't plan on celebrating the day of love.
But what about the Gem State? How much money are people going to spend in Idaho?
Idaho residents sure do like to splurge on Valentine's Day!
According to a study from Bookies.com, Idahoans are expected to spend an average of $151.59 on their partners for Valentine's Day which is the third-highest in the country. Idaho is behind only Kansas, which is number one with an average of $159.79, and North Dakota, number two with an average of $147.50 being spent.
We know that that money can include anything from a dinner to a gift, but what do Idahoans really want for Valentine's Day? Is it money? Is it a memory?
