Former One Direction Front Man Coming to Treasure Valley

The boys from One Direction are now living out the dream they had when the originally auditioned for The X Factor UK.  They're all deep into their solo projects and one just announced a HUGE North American tour! Maybe this will be a great mother/daughter night out for you!

You know it's not Harry Styles.  He announced his tour months ago and tickets for all of the dates sold out in minutes.  Harry's only got one date in the Pacific Northwest and that's in Seattle. So which 1D member is coming to Boise?

Niall Horan! He just announced his "Flicker" World Tour and it'll be coming to the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa on July 31st, 2018! Want to surprise your daughter, niece or granddaughter with tickets? Tickets go on sale Friday, September 22nd at 10 a.m.  His opening act is country superstar, Maren Morris.

A few years ago, I went to visit my friend in California and when I showed up at his radio station he said "guess what we're doing Sunday night?"  With a huge smile on his face, he said "We're going to One Direction!" I immediately answered "We're going to One Direction?" skeptically.  As two adults with no children of our own, I never really pictured us going to a One Direction concert, but I'm so glad we went!

All five members are genuinely talented and the performance was great! Seeing them perform that night triggered my memory that each of them auditioned individually for The X Factor UK in hopes of solo careers.  The judges didn't feel they were strong enough performers on their own at that time, so Simon Cowell put them together in a group.  After a few years and several huge albums under their belts, the guys are pursuing their own careers.  I'm excited to see what a Niall concert is like!
