This weekend, over 2,000 questionably sane people planned to lace up their running shoes and take on the legend that is the Race to Robie Creek. Coronavirus had other plans.

It wasn't an easy decision for the Rocky Canyon Sail Toads who organized the toughest race in the Northwest. The race isn't just a fun right of passage for runners in the Treasure Valley, it's also a huge source of donations for dozens of local charities. In 2019 alone, they granted over $85,000 to the charities and organizations listed HERE. Upon making the decision to cancel, they offered partial refunds to participants or the opportunity to donate your registration free to their charity efforts and get early access to registration for the 2021 race. Knowing how many great organizations had to cancel or postpone their biggest fundraisers of the year this spring, it was a no brainer to donate my registration.
