It just feels different talking about Father's Day events considering women already have things solved. The day is planned, purchased and mom is already working on Christmas.

You can expect all the dads in sweat pants at the Albertson's on Sunday morning with the kids purchasing flowers. Like clockwork! I found some things including discounts for everyone not exactly prepared.

Father's Day Grilling Event

I like to grill at one point until I recognized my wife was better at it. Eventually, I stepped back and let her grill up! The Boise CO-OP is hosting an annual Father's Day Grilling Event on Saturday, June 19. This is great because it doesn't really mess with your own Father's Day events.

The Boise CO-OP will be grilling free samples from local Desert Mountain Grassfed Beet and Lake Fork Farms Yak. This includes some Steelhead Trout from Pacific Seafood.

This is just a few hours which gives you time to shop for a few things while he samples and gets tips on grilling.

  • North End Store Sampling - 11 AM - 1 PM (beef) and 2 PM - 4 PM (seafood)
  • The Village Sampling - 11 AM - 1 PM (Desert Mountain, Lake Fork Farms and Pacific Seafood)
