Everywhere You Can Score FREE Doughnuts on National Doughnut Day

If it's free, it's for me! Don't worry about packing your breakfast on Friday! Swing by Krispy Kreme or Guru Donuts to score a free doughnut.

Today is National Doughnut Day and to celebrate, Krispy Kreme is giving you a free doughnut! That's any doughnut of your choice! It could be powdered, filled or the doughnut they became best known for, their hot original glazed doughnutt! No purchase necessary.

Boise's locally owned doughnut shop, Guru Donuts, is getting in on the fun too! Stop in for a FREE old fashioned cake doughnut or vegan mini with any purchase while supplies last! You can find Guru Donuts at 928 W Main St in Downtown Boise.

By the way, National Doughnut day began in the late 1930s when the Salvation Army decided to recognize the volunteers who were making huge batches of doughnuts to send overseas to United States soldiers fighting in World War I.
