When I was living in San Jose, California, one of my absolute favorite place to go with friends was a place called San Pedro Square. It was basically a year-round indoor farmer's market. They had permanent tenants that offered food and drinks, and every week there were different local vendors that would set up shop to sell their amazing products. It was a place I was hoping to find in Boise when I moved here nearly six years ago. Unfortunately, there was nothing quite like it. Until now.

A concept similar to my fave San Pedro Square will be coming to Boise in late June! Chow Public Market & Eatery will be across from Edwards Cinemas on Overland Road in Boise. It will feature nine permanent tenants, and Thursdays and Saturdays, "pop-up vendors will showcase farmers-market style wares. I AM SO FLIPPIN' EXCITED FOR THIS.

Here's a list of the tenants that have signed on:

  • Aladdin's Egyptian Cuisine
  • Bar 76
  • Bluwave Tacos
  • The Chow Market
  • Good Burger
  • La Gelateria
  • Ratio Coffee
  • Something Sweet
  • The Spice House
