Hey, I’m Kat Fisher and I’m new to Boise! I moved here to join Keke in the mornings on KISS FM and am SO excited to be here. I did radio in my hometown of Seattle for 10 years before deciding it was time for a change. Boise was easy to fall in love with, as was everyone on the KISS team, so my cats and I are here! Yes, cats plural. Everyone freaks out about that. A girl named Kat with multiple cats? It’s okay, there’s only two. They’re sisters and I adopted them as kittens seven years ago. Most of my life has consisted of hanging out and being weird with my friends and family, but since they’re all in Seattle, I’ll be tapping into my other hobbies while exploring Boise! Concerts, running, soccer (who needs a sub?!), tennis, yoga, finding the best Thai and Boba Tea spots in the city of trees.. all of that. Plus meeting you guys! The listeners! Who I’m hoping will turn into my friends. Seriously, I’m really fun. Let’s hang out. Shoot me a follow on IG or friend me on Facebook @kitkatfisher if you’ve got a list of places I HAVE to go. Or a great place to get my nails done. It’s hard starting over! But I have a feeling Boise is the place to do it.
New Mural on Green Belt!
One of my favorite parts of Boise is Freak Alley, because it's just so different and a fun take on simple alley ways. Anytime you can add color, detail and something different to something simple like a wall or an underpass, it just completely changes the vibe.
