A month-long celebration of Idaho's craft beer industry will lead up to the Idaho Craft Beer Month Festival on April 28th in Boise.  And we can get started this week with a free commemorative mug.

As we celebrate Idaho's craft beer industry during the month of April (which may not be all that different from every other month), we can check out a bunch of fun events at local craft brew spots.

VisitIdaho.org says there's a kickoff event this Thursday, April 5th, and breweries across the state that are participating will let us buy a pint of beer and keep the glass.  And we might see some friends sharing posts with #PintsUpIdaho, not only on Thursday but throughout the month of April.

The craft beer industry has been growing like crazy, and we've got lots of great breweries around Boise and across the state that have popped up over the past few years.  Places like Grand Teton Brewing, Payette Brewing Company, Pre Funk Beer Bar, Cloud 9, Woodland Empire, and Sockeye, and I bet you can name plenty of other favs.  Craft Beer Month will give us a good reason to hit them all.  Again.

The Craft Beer Month Festival happens April 28th on Fulton Street, between 8th Street & S. Capital, in downtown Boise.  They'll have Idaho beers of course, live music, food trucks, and more in front of White Dog Brewing, Long Drop Cider, and The Gas Lantern.   It's free to attend, but the beer will require paid tickets.

Pints up!  And congrats on the success, brewers.  Have a great April.
