New Year's Eve

The first ever GlowTato will be featured at this weekend's Idaho Potato Drop. Events start Saturday afternoon and lead up to midnight when that giant, high-tech, internally lit, fake glowing spud will descend. And there's a new heated tent too.

Boise is in the Top 50 in the country when it comes to the best cities to visit on New Year's Eve.  Another win for us as a whole. What's your favorite night spot to ring in the New Year?

Boise's signature New Year's Eve celebration over the last few years has been the Potato Drop, and this year, the festivities will be even more visually impressive.

We can safely say no other city in the US rings in the new year like Boise.

The most popular New Year's Resolutions are also the most commonly broken ones.  In other words, there's no point in making "save more money" our goal for the new year. Okay then!  What other promises won't we keep?
