This weekend, we spring forward! The days are getting longer, the weather is getting warmer and summer break will be here before you know it.

The kids live for summer break, but as a parent...you know what you're in for! Messy house 24/7? It's a given. Spending hours in the kitchen making snacks? Check! (Why do these kids never get full?!) Not being able to use "because it's a school night" as an excuse for sending them to bed? The worst!

Let's not forget that summer is expensive for parents. The last thing you want them doing is sitting home staring at their tablets all day, but finding ways to keep them stimulated cost money.  Summer Camp, the Western Idaho Fair or a day at Roaring Springs? Your kids aren't making money, so it's up to you to pay for all those fun excursions.

What if I told you, there's a way for you to take your kids bowling...for free...every single day during summer break? It's a program called "Kids Bowl Free" where bowling centers all over the Treasure Valley let kids bowl two games free every day! All you have to do is pay for their shoe rentals.

Registration for the program at Big Al's, Meridian Bowling Lanes, Pinz and Emerald Lanes is open for kids 15 and under! Caldwell Bowl allows kids 18 and under to participate. Westy's will eventually join this list, but their registration hasn't started just yet. You can sign-up by visiting the Kids Bowl Free website!
