High School

It's one of those rights of passage and something that can cause some stress (and at times hurt feelings).  Prom.  What if students didn't choose their own dates?

We've got some good ones in Idaho.  The Orofino Maniacs have gained some attention for being odd, and the Shelby High Russets usually get noticed for capitalizing on our love for the spud. And those Idaho Vandals...well, the Vandal is a Viking, but the mascot name can sound a lil criminal. Vote here for the weirdest mascot in Idaho.

He taught himself to play guitar and spent over a thousand hours writing the new musical that's about the debut at Rocky Mountain High School.  The story is pretty incredible.

This is what they've worked for.  It's that time of year that high school football standouts get offers from colleges and start to make the decisions on where they'll play football on Saturdays in the fall. We've got the news on the players Boise State might be collecting from across the country.

Oh, no big deal. Some Idaho high school students have been collecting music and movies to send to outer space in a pretty amazing time capsule, and when Taylor Swift heard about it she sent a little something to include. Surprise!

We've heard time after time, Idaho lags behind the rest of the nation in qualify of education and graduation rates.  That seems to continue to be the case.

Brenda for some reason was looking at her high school class from Facebook.  I must admit there isn't another woman she went to school with that can hold a candle to her, but it made me look at my class.  Woooooooopsy, bad move.
