So many restaurants, both chains and small local eateries had substantial financial trouble from the pandemic. A ton of local Boise and Treasure Valley favorites were forced to shut their doors forever. While it was a very sad time for many restaurants, some still were able to thrive against all odds. Texas Roadhouse is one that actually grew over the last year.

The closest thing I can equate this to is getting in trouble as a teenager from my parents. Then thanking them later for helping to teach me a lesson. I may not have been mature enough at the time, or even right after to thank them but eventually I showed my gratitude for the life long lessons.

Saturday, "M" and I mowed a couple acres of lawn.  Even though he is only 20 months, he loves to mow.  He climbs aboard the tractor and rides like a pro.  Brenda is always freaking as we play the launch game when we mow the grass mounds. The grass mounds are about 4-5 feet tall, one of them has our flag pole, and there is only one way to mow them and that is to go over, not side to side,
