The last time we remember seeing the Planters NUTmobile, it was making its way across the country to SHELL-abrate Mr. Peanut's 100 birthday and stopped by The Village at Meridian. If you missed all those years ago, the Lowe Family Farmstead has arranged a do over.

Unfortunately, you won't have the opportunity to meet Mr. Peanut after his tragic passing at age 104. Mr. Peanut sacrificed himself to save his buddies Wesley Snipes and Matt Walsh after one of the NUTmobiles went over a cliff during their Super Bowl commercial.

Even with the loss of the vehicle in the commercial, Planters has a fleet of three different peanuts on wheels driving around the country! The one with the custom plate "MRPNUT1" is heading for the Treasure Valley and will be stopping to greet visitors at The Farmstead on Friday, October 23 from 4-10 p.m.

The NUTmobille is coming off a two day visit in Idaho Falls where not only did they visit the Chamber of Commerce and Idaho Falls Famers Market, they also participated in two days of Meals on Wheels deliveries.

If you enjoy a good photo-op and don't mind some cooler fall temperatures, we can't think of a better reason to check out The Farmstead this Friday night! In addition to the NUTmobile visit there's also a Food Truck Rally from 4-10 p.m., pig races at 5:30 p.m., a dog show at 6 and 8 p.m. and the Candy Cannon launch at 7 p.m.!
