See Caldwell’s Christmas Lights From the Sky During A Private Helicopter Ride
For as many years as you can remember, your family has strolled along Indian Creek taking endless photos of Caldwell's Winter Wonderland lights. This year, maybe it's time to see the lights from new heights!
We mean, literal heights. During the holiday season, Silverhawk Aviation Academy in Caldwell offers private helicopter Christmas lights tours over Caldwell. Each trip takes off from the Caldwell Airport and lasts about 15 minutes. Depending on weight limits, you can book up to three passengers per flight. The flat rate for a tour is $200. The Christmas lights tour isn't the only themed tour that they offer. On their Facebook Page, Silverhawk shared a trailer video of their "James Bond" tour partnership with Anderson Reserve. During that tour, you're whisked away from the Caldwell Airport by helicopter in true secret agent style. Your trip takes over Black Canyon Reservoir to the Anderson Reserve property in Sweet. There you'll be treated to a menu of bold and familiar flavors from a hand-crafted menu plus a glass of red from a seemingly bottomless wine menu before the return flight. The James Bond package is available for a flat rate of $1000 and can accommodate up to four passengers.
Throughout the year, they offer tours to Black Canyon Reservoir, the Snake River Wine Region, Downtown Boise and the Owyhee Mountains.
