Say What? Look What I Saw On The Road In Meridian

I'm driving down the road in Meridian this weekend, minding my own business, and had to do a double-take.  Was I really seeing "Clyde The Camel" in Meridian?  Yep. 

I don't know why this was so surprising, but it struck me as kind of strange to see a camel in a trailer moving on to his next appearance, but there it was.  Even my kiddo asked, "wouldn't he be in a desert area like Egypt...or Arizona?"

I did a little research and evidently we've been missing out on a local celebrity.  Clyde has quite a following and has been covered by the media over the last few years.
