Live in this Extraordinary Island Home in Boise

"I wonder which one it is," I muttered as we passed mile four of the 18 on our run this past weekend. 

My coach immediately turned to me and looked at me like I was crazy.  "I mean which house it is. One of the houses on the Island and River Run is for sale. $3.5 Million." We immediately decided that a house that expensive and that large needed a name...which we never came up with over the next 12 miles, so when you see the photos, please let us know if anything jumps out at you for a name.

The home is located at 2280 S Bluestem Ln in Southeast Boise, inside "The Island at River Run." I live in a (much) cheaper area of Southeast Boise, so I run River Run Drive all the time to get to the Greenbelt.  I've always been curious what "The Island" really was, but never really look at it until I saw this house for sale on Zillow while researching another home in the area that I was interested in buying. Turns out "The Island" was one of the first gated communities in Boise and gets it's name because the 38 homes that are part of it are bordered by not just the Boise River, but Loggers Creek and Heron Creek as well.  Anyone who lives in "The Island" phase of the River Run neighborhood also gets access to  its private clubhouse, pool and tennis courts.

Looking inside the home, I'm a little torn over what it reminds me of.  It's beautiful stair case and sophisticated fireplace reminds me of the class of the Titanic. On the flip side, the grand piano, fancy personal office, amazing master bath, private gym and wine cellar remind me of the home that Christian and Anastasia Grey were working to complete in Fifty Shades Freed. Either way, this house is absolutely breathtaking!
