While we hoped that 2021 would bring be the year we could host the eleventh edition of Idaho's largest one day festival, Boise Music Festival will NOT be taking place this summer.

This is normally when we'd be announcing which acts would be on the main stage but COVID-19 has forced another Boise Music Festival postponement. We believe in being completely transparent on the thought process behind this difficult decision.

Throughout the pandemic, the Boise Music Festival planning team was working with their network of talent pools and record labels to make this year's festival possible. Unfortunately, the music industry as a whole just isn't there yet.

Many artists aren't ready to commit to a summer show and even as the vaccine continues to roll out, gathering size restrictions will likely still be around come June. Moving the date later into the year eliminated the possibility for supporting entertainment that is known and loved at Boise Music Festival, such as carnival attractions.

While we're sad to share this news we do want to put together the Boise Music Festival that more closely resembles the show that you've come to know and love over the past decade. That's why we're excited to announce that Boise Music Festival WILL return. You can mark your calendars for June 25, 2022.

The planning never stops and we're continuing to build the perfect main stage line-up for next year. If you have an act that you'd love to see in 2022, share who it is on our Facebook page and we'll try to make it happen!
