Thirty years ago, artists like U2, George Michael, Duran Duran and the Culture Club  got together to record "Do You Know It's Christmas" . The over $8 million in sales from the song went toward Ethiopian famine victims. Thirty years later, a couple of the original artists as well as new artists will have the "retweaked" song available in less than a week. Proceeds will go toward stopping the spread of ebola in West Africa.

One Direction and Ed Sheeran have been confirmed as being part of the celebrity line-up for Band Aid 30. The song "Do They  Know It's Christmas" was scheduled to be recorded on Saturday and producers will frantically perfect the song in order to make it available Monday, November 17th.

Singer/songwriter Bob Geldof led this project 30 years ago and is leading it again saying, "It really doesn't matter if you don't like this song, it really doesn't matter if you hate all the artists. What you have to do is buy this thing,"
