A LITE-FM Christmas Wish for Molly

LITE-FM's Christmas Wish is back, thanks to our friends at Pioneer Federal Credit Union. Our seventh wish went to Molly. She's going through a "when it rains, it pours" situation.

Cindy nominated her friend Molly for a wish because this Christmas because in Molly's world, it just doesn't feel like Christmas at all right now. Molly's going through a pretty yucky divorce and trying to support her three girls. Molly's mom has been a big support system for her daughter through it all, but was just diagnosed with lung cancer and is currently in the hospital.

Molly's oldest daughter was hoping to go back to college in the spring after taking a semester off, but that might be on hold because of her grandmother's diagnosis.  Molly's younger girls both have special needs, so it's been a challenge to balance caring for them and being at the hospital for her mom.  With everything going on, this year's become a financial challenge for the family.

That's why Cindy wanted to step up and try to get her friend some support to brighten up the end of a 2017 that's been kind of bleak. We were happy to step in and help!
