It's interesting what you're willing to do when thinking about losing your favorite thing. If someone said they were taking your social media or specific apps you might lose your mind. What if they charged you a price, would you keep it?

When it comes to price hikes, we do feel a bit like we're victim to the game because we've relied on them as an escape and a dependable source of entertainment in an uncertain world. Disney Plus is a must for our family and might as well name your price. Disney+ has already hit a milestone that they didn't think was obtainable until 2024. They hit 100 million subscribers this week, so naming their price is exactly what they're doing.

Disney is happy we love their streaming service and quietly plans to increase monthly fees by the end of the month. Don't stress too much because it's only increasing by $1/month. The increases start with the March 26 billing cycle and here's how it breaks down depending on which tier you subscribe to:

  • Disney+ $6.99 to $7.99
  • Disney+ bundle (Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+) $12.99 to $13.99
  • Diseny+ yearly subscription $69.99 to $79.99 ($6.67 per month)

You can purchase the entire year now and skip the increase for one year. That monthly fee is $5.83.

That amount is that noticeable when you think of current family use. You might however see the number rise over the upcoming years. If you like things like Star Wars you don't wanna leave Disney+.
