Buzzfeed caught my eye (again) talking about things people would say to their younger selves. Oh, the things we'd say. The problem: We wouldn't listen. Can you imagine how our lives would change? See what others have said and post your own. Give your young self some advice.

The next time you see a kid on a phone, take a minute before you think he should be doing something "productive". He may be creating the next big thing. A 15-year old developed an app that was more popular than Twitter and Vine. Say what? He's also got another one ready to go. It will make our lives more efficient.

If I'm going to exercise, it's not because I'm self-motivated. In fact, 99.9% of the time it's up to me, I don't do anything about it. However, if I'm meeting someone or if I have a goal in mind (immediate goal), I'm all over it. Charging my cell battery through movement = get my running shoes!

This might be dangerous territory we're getting into but I'm willing to take the risk. When you get home at the end of the day and walk through the door, what's the first thing you do? That thing determines your personality. I'd act like I do something other than change into comfy clothes but it would be a lie. Yoga pants for me (no yoga, mind you). In fact, I'm wearing this today. Classy, right? 

If you have younger kids, around Christmastime, it seems the 'Elf on the Shelf' consumes you. Oh wait, it actually is. I use ours as a bargaining tool and a way for my son to behave. No shame. Guess what? You can do the same thing around Halloween with 'Switchcrafted." This witch acts just like that sneaky elf.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month (in case you hadn't noticed the pink everywhere). It's not about noticing the pink, however, it's about awareness and taking action. A designer has started a campaign urging all of us to check for breast cancer the way we check social media. See the recreated social media icons.

At 19, Stanford sophomore Elizabeth Holmes decided that her tuition could be used for a greater purpose than putting her through school. Her goal was to revolutionize healthcare. What she developed will positively impact almost all of our lives in the future.

What the what? Swing sets have been removed from several Washington state school playgrounds. Think of the memories being erased from our future. How sad!

Most first-time moms (and the energetic ones with more than one child) take photos of their pregnant belly growing through the months. It's a cute way of showing progression but I'm not totally sure what else it's for. The thought just crossed my mind. This couple took pregnancy photos to a whole new level. It's incredible! It's in video form and it actually has a storyline!

At 8:00 am, the Ada County Clerk was ready to issue a marriage license to the first Idaho gay couple. Just minutes before, the Supreme Court halted it after an emergency motion had been filed by Governor Otter who feels that blocking gay marriage, at least temporarily, would give Idaho a chance to appeal the decision to higher courts.
