What an amazing day in the Treasure Valley today.  It was sunny, it was warm, and I took a few minutes to take advantage of our proximity to the Greenbelt at our studios.

Out tuning up for FitOne or getting ready for the Sue B 5K benefiting the WCA?  You may see this guy on your run or walk?

I love that our city is growing so much. A new portion of the Greenbelt that has been under construction for the past few months will be open to the public this afternoon.

To be healthy and fit, it turns out we don't have to run marathons or hit the gym very hard. Here's some great news about how the Greenbelt, or maybe the Table Rock Trail, can improve health and extend our lives.

Even if you use the Greenbelt frequently, you might not know about a feature along the pathway called Planet Walk.

For many of us who have lived in the Treasure Valley, this is not a surprise (and can be a yearly occurrence) but high water in the Boise River has closed a second section of the Greenbelt.

The Boise National Forest is on the list.  What would you add?

Here's the final section we recorded.  All in all we got only 10 of the 50 plus miles of trails on the Boise Greenbelt.

Kody, my youngest son and I went bike riding on the greenbelt.  We started at the Quiznos in Eagle with Kody wearing a Gopro.  Here is some more video of our ride.

We have one of the best walking/biking trail systems anywhere in the world.
