For the last nine years I've been fighting Lymphoma.  I was told by one famed Lymphoma specialist that I would be lucky to be alive in a year because of my choices.  That was 5 years ago and not only am I alive, but I'm very healthy because I choose to be.  It's not easy, I have to get up and move and because I love food, I have to move quite a bit. Don't get me wrong, I also love not only working out but challenging what I can do physically.

With FitOne starting today at the Boise Center, it's a great time for you to take hold of your health.  The expo at the Boise Center is open to everyone, they will have vendors, demonstrations, freebies and more.  Go if you live a healthy lifestyle, go if you are in between, go if you have a hard time putting one foot in front of the other except to head to the kitchen, GO.

I used to be a very large person, and when I say very large I'm talking 6'3" 290lbs and those pounds weren't muscle.  It's been 20 years since I was that big and over those years I've become an armchair doctor of what makes the body tick better.  Because of that journey, I also manage my cancer differently than most people.

I believe in making the body stronger and giving it the antioxidants it needs to keep the blood and bones clean. Working out is also essential, not light workouts, sweaty challenging workouts.  You have to make the body sweat to get the toxins out. The Lymph system is kind of like the garbage pails  of the body, by sweating you empty them out.

You can beat pretty much any sickness by making your body healthy, so what is your excuse, especially since the FitOne Expo today and tomorrow are free.
