Given how much bike culture is a part of our lives in the Treasure Valley, it's probably no surprise that a High School Mountain Bike League is doing so well here.

I remember doing "Bike Club" in middle school, but there was no official league in my high school days.  I wish there had been.  Something very cool is happening in our state of Idaho, in the form of the High School Mountain Bike League.

It's comprised of nearly 500 high school and junior high students on 23 teams have helped grow the league in it's second year.  The league has been growing across the country too, with teams in 18 states at this point, and it seems the growth will continue.
