For one in five Idaho children ages 3 and younger, poverty is a reality. These children don’t always have access to basic necessities such as baby food and diapers. They need your help.
From 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, 2014, Scentsy will line its sidewalk along Eagle Road (between Pine Avenue and Commercial Street in Meridian) with 70 rocking chairs. For every minute someone is rocking in one of these chairs, Scentsy will donate $5, to one of our event partners: The Idaho Foodbank, Giraffe Laugh, The Salvation Army, or the Meridian Foodbank. As long as someone is rocking in every chair for the full 10 hours, Scentsy will donate $210,000!
Come by for any part of the day, and be sure to stick around afterward when Scentsy will light up the night with a spectacular fireworks show around 8:45 p.m.
Event parking from 5:30-9 p.m. is $10 or an in-kind donation of diapers, baby wipes, formula, or baby food. All donations will benefit our very deserving event partners.
