Run For The Health Of It 5K Walk/Run

Run for the Health of It is an annual fundraiser that is put on by the Idaho State University College of Pharmacy students in an effort to fund our student-run patient outreach projects which consist of numerous operations that provide complementary health screenings and care to the community within the state of Idaho. Our services include free immunizations, cholesterol screenings, heart disease education, blood pressure screenings, prescription abuse awareness education as well as many others. A portion of our proceeds also go to HODIA: Idaho Diabetes Youth Programs. HODIA is a non-profit organization that advocated for children and teens with Type 1 diabetes by sponsoring programs and camps that offer mentorship and support. Their mission is to foster self-reliance and demonstrate that no one has to be limited by diabetes.
