Hunting Down A Cure with the Relay For Life Of Nampa

The Relay For Life of Nampa is “Hunting Down A Cure” for cancer this year.
This is an annual community event that will take place on June 20th starting at 6:00 p.m. and will continue through the night with ceremonies ending on June 21 at 6:00 a.m. This year our event will be held at Nampa High School Track and Field
Community Teams are now being formed. They will spend the entire night taking turns walking the track, because “Cancer doesn't sleep, so neither do we.” At 10:00 p.m. there will be a special memorial service for those that have lost a loved one to cancer, as well as giving hope to those that are still battling this unforgiving disease, At this time we will “black out” the stadium and will release flying lanterns into the sky. The lanterns can be purchased for $25.00 prior to the event.
