We're experiencing growth faster than our roads can keep up with and that contributes to traffic problems. But overall? We can't complain much about commute times.
Boise is growing quickly, which means we need to make sure we have everything working properly and that our streets are easy to maneuver through. It's like cleaning your house before company comes over. This week will impact a lot of Boise drivers.
Starting next week, all of us who drive I-84 east, we're going to have a longer commute. In order to replace concrete from the 60's, ITD will be crossing one lane of eastbound 84 to the westbound side of the median between Meridian and Cloverdale roads. It will seem a bit confusing. The bright side? We'll all be moving slow enough to see it coming.
