It's easy to get used to Idaho topping Top 10 lists seemingly every week. We've done it again, but it's not so great this time. Idaho is the 8th worst state for working moms.
Maybe you've got a full-time job, but you're looking to make extra money on the side. Or you're a full-time mom who wants to make some cash at home between diaper changes and shuttling kids to gymnastics class. It turns out, Boise is one of the top five spots in the country to make that happen.
Having babies does strange things to us. The hormones make us laugh harder, cry more, and we gain the heightened ability to sniff out the cause of a foul odor a mile away.
And sometimes we want to stay connected to the new-mom experience so badly that we will do anything to immortalize it. And that includes turning breast milk rock hard so it becomes hard as a gem, and can hang on a necklace. C

I'm confused. There's so much talk about embracing your body, about wearing what makes you feel good and finding the right style for you BUT there's always the comment of dressing age-appropriate and about the fact that there's an age and/or lifestyle limit on what you can wear. Let's figure this out.
At my house, manners are extremely important. This includes good behavior - especially in public. One day, I was at the end of my rope with my son. While he was in swim lessons, I had responded to his teacher about their class service project. That's when another mom had seen me on my phone and took that opportunity to discipline my son. I was that mom...on her cell phone.
