McCall Winter Carnival

When the McCall Chamber of Commerce announced the theme for their newly reimagined Winter Carnival, they had no idea how accurately it would describe their 2024 event.

The event’s account has been active over the last few weeks and is subtly reminding folks that there are major changes coming to the event in 2024.

McCall’s is in the middle of what is likely to be the last time they host a 10-day Winter Carnival and this year’s snow sculpture artists REALLY went over the top.

With a 100 mile and 300 mile race option, contestants are in for a challenge with hard terrain and serious snowy climbs. The Idaho Sled Dog Challenge is in its fourth year and will run from January 30th to February 3rd and starts in Cascade Idaho as part of the 2022 McCall Winter Carnival.

The temperatures are dropping, it's getting darker earlier and we're excited for all the winter fun that comes with it!
