What started as an exercise in retail therapy quickly evolved into a pretty & pink reminder to do what makes us happy this summer.

The Boise Parks and Recreation department is top notch and has been working on some fantastic improvement plans around the city.

The City of Boise feels that they have a game plan in place that will allow them to open four of their municipal pools.

Public pools were closed in 2020 and the city originally planned to keep the gates closed again this year. That planned has changed!

After reaching temps close to 90º earlier this week a lot of us started dreaming of summer fun. While the future of a 2020 Boise River float season is still unclear, we know that we've lost one fun way to cool down this summer.

It's kind of ironic that August is good at two things in Boise: roasting us with triple digit temperatures and closing the city pools as soon as the school year starts.
