The fountain itself looks mostly complete but there’s still a lot of landscaping to do around the new foundation and rubberized surface.

The Boise Parks and Recreation department is top notch and has been working on some fantastic improvement plans around the city.

For the better part of 62 years, the incredible fountain has shot water high into the sky during sweltering Boise summers and provided sweet relief its cool mist.

I love that our city is growing so much. A new portion of the Greenbelt that has been under construction for the past few months will be open to the public this afternoon.

Sad breaking news tonight, as an adult body has been discovered in the Boise River at Ann Morrison Park.  It was on the Americana side of the park.
