If You Live In Idaho, You Shouldn’t Leave The House This Week
November in Idaho is usually a good time to enjoy the fall air, touch some grass, and reconnect with nature before it gets too cold out there.
At least, it's usually a good time for that.
Currently? It sucks. It sucks a whole, whole lot.
Um, I live in Idaho. Why can't I go outside?
Because it's nasty out there currently. Let us explain.
Airnow, who specialize in air quality tracking, are currently showing unhealthy levels of pollution in the air in parts of the state. Meaning, if you're trying to stay healthy and keep the caca out of your lungs, you may want to chill inside for a few days.
It may not sound like that big of a deal, but prolonged exposure to air pollution can really do a number on your system. In the worst way. Including:
- premature death in people with heart or lung disease
- nonfatal heart attacks
- irregular heartbeat
- aggravated asthma
- decreased lung function
- increased respiratory symptoms, such as irritation of the airways, coughing or difficulty breathing
Luckily, there are a bunch of good video games and TV shows out currently, so you can stay inside and chill!

Don't have the first clue about the air quality in Idaho, because you're new here? No worries, you're amongst friends!
If you indeed are new to the area, it's our belief that you can't truly experience Boise without hitting up each of the following spots at least one time.
Just, make sure it's not all pollutiony outside, yeah?
