Well, it's brothel time in Wallace again! This historic building, once known as a famous brothel, is back on the market for the third in two years. The three-story brick building was built in 1913 and has 12 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. With bedrooms scatted throughout the building, the kitchen on the second level, and a master bedroom and more on the third level, it's a crazy layout.

The property was listed in May 2021 for $339,00 and, after two months, dropped to $299,000. The listing was removed a month later, in August 2021, and hit the market again in April 2022, when the property price started to get crazy. When the brothel hit the market in April 2022, it was listed for $759,000 and continued to drop. In March 2022, it dropped to $659,000; in July 2022, it fell to $575,000. August 2022, it went to $549,000. The property owner didn't stop there because in September, another price change, this time to $524,000.

Before taking the property off the market in November 2022, they tried one last time and dropped the price to $499,000. It's back on the market as of March 13, 2023, and the asking price is $399,000.

The realtor highlights that the second floor with six bedrooms functioned as a successful vacation rental and a laundry list of renovations. The renovations included 14 new windows, lighting, fresh paint, and an additional bathroom plumbed in 2021.

My favorite part of this building is the retail space on the ground floor, where they found the original tile floor from 1913. The building could use much more love, but the retail space has great potential. Maybe somewhere for people to grab a pint? Take a look for yourself!
