It’s Official! ‘Minecraft’ Is Coming To Boise State!
If you have kiddos or even teenagers, there's a good chance you know what Minecraft is. As a parent of three kids, I can't tell you how many times I've had elements of the game explained to me by my seven-year-old, leaving me with more questions than answers.
When the movie for the game came out earlier this year, the nation went into a frenzy.
'A Minecraft Movie' Is Coming To Boise State
In case you didn't know (hey, it happens), Boise State hosts "Movie On The Blue" throughout the summer, giving Treasure Valley families a chance to catch a flick on Boise State's famous blue turf.
On Friday, June 13th, starting at 6 PM, families will get to enjoy 'A Minecraft Movie' on Boise State's blue turf.

You'll be allowed to bring your own food and nonalcoholic beverages for the free event. Not a bad movie night, huh?
Will The Blue Turf Go Crazy For "Chicken Jockey?"
Earlier this year, movie-goers were going viral for absolutely losing it during a scene featuring Jack Black's character, Steve, saying the phrase: "Chicken jockey!"
Movie-goers would yell the words in unison with the character as they go absolutely BONKERS.
Pretty crazy, right? Luckily for us, we haven't heard of any major incidents like the ones above here in the Treasure Valley, at least that we know of.
That being said, I'm somewhat curious if the staff at Boise State is aware of the viral trend during the film's theatrical run.
Regardless, it'll be a fun event for the family and a great way to spend a Friday night!
