The FBI has announced plans to increase it's presence in the State of Idaho, but it's not necessarily for investigations here.  They are expanding their data center in Eastern Idaho.

The data center in Pocatello will add an additional 300 new jobs to the state which is huge not just for the region, but also the state. The jobs created would have an average salary of $60,000.

The FBI has been working to expand their building into what Pocatello's mayor said would be "a major hub" for the FBI.  The center opened in 1985 and this is the largest expansion it has seen since.
