If it's FREE, it's for me...especially when it involves food.

I'd like to say that's an exaggeration but it's not.  My fiance was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and is a die hard Cleveland Indians fan. Last year, Taco Bell crowned their first "Taco Hero" during the World Series.  Not familiar with the concept? The "Taco Hero" was the first player to steal a base during the world series, a feat that Taco Bell would honor by giving the entire country a FREE Doritos Locos taco. 2016's "Taco Hero" was the Indians' Francisco Lindor.  Why do I tell you this? Because I don't follow baseball and Lindor's legitimately the only player on my fiance's team I know and it's all because he got me a free taco! My ears are literally always open for free food and here's where you can find some today!

Taco Time

Love Taco Time's Mexi-Fries? Get a free order of them when you purchase a large drink all day long. If you've never had them, Taco Time describes them as seasoned golden nuggets of potato deliciousness.  They're so popular that the restaurant cranks out over 190 million of them a year!  There are several Taco Time locations in Boise, Meridian, Nampa and Caldwell.

Meraki Greek Street Food

It's hard to believe it's already been a year since Meraki Greek Street Food opened their BoDo locations with a little help from the Treasure Valley through a Kickstarter campaign. According to their Facebook page, they're saying thanks for a great year with an anniversary party today from 3-6 p.m.  Stop by for a FREE Greek beignet drizzled with thyme, crushed walnuts and cinnamon (called a loukoumade.)  There will also be ribbon cutting, live music and beer specials.
