Fellow nerds and costume enthusiasts, mark your calendars! Wizard World is coming back to the Treasure Valley in 2019!

As I'm sitting here, (not so) patiently waiting for payday to spend north of a $200 on a pretty legit Wonder Woman costume that I was planning on wearing for Trunk or Treat season this year, this makes the investment so much more worth it! After a great turnout for it's first visit to the Treasure Valley, Wizard World announced that they'll be back at the Boise Centre July 19-21!

So who's coming this year? Patience you must have.  The pop culture convention is working on the rosters of celebrities and artists coming to their 2019 shows! But if you want to buy tickets now and stash them away as a surprise Christmas gift for the nerd in your life, now's a great time to do that because Early Bird tickets mean deep discounts!

3-day admission wristbands are on-sale now for $49.99 and Silver VIP Packages are $99.99. I didn't realize how valuable those VIP packages were until I saw them in action at this year's con! Not only do they get you early access to the show floor, a collectible VIP badge/goodie bag and special discounts...they also let you go to the head of the line for certain photos-ops, autographs and programming sessions. If you can't say no to a good deal click HERE to grab your tickets!

Now about those guests.  We have a few suggestions based on who's come to some of those guests.  Here's my wish list!

The Cast of Boy Meets World

Wizard World just wrapped up their biggest (and longest running) convention in Chicago and I was in tears looking at their Instagram account last weekend.  Why? Because they were the first con to reunite the main cast members of one of my favorite TV Shows in the world, Boy Meets World. How much do I love this show? Enough that I actually watch every episode of the Disney channel spinoff Girl Meets World, just to check in on what my favorite characters were doing more than a decade after the show's final episode aired on ABC.

Nathan Fillion

Fillion's always a big draw on the con scene because of his work on Firefly, but I'm dying to see (and would pay a small fortune for a photo with) him because I've seen every episode of Castle at least six times. I'm sure by the time the con rolls around, he'll know if his new crime drama The Rookie makes it past one season on ABC.  If it does, this would be a great opportunity to promote the show!

Ian Somerhalder

I actually don't think I've ever watched something Ian's acted in (even Vampire Diaries) but I do know that he and wife/Twilight star Nikki Reid have vacationed in Sun Valley before.  That means they're no strangers to Idaho and therefore should come party with us in Boise!
