Some costumer's may have had their names, ages and social security numbers may have been exposed in last week's hack on the company that handles the department's online sales.

According to the Boise Weekly, the department released a press release stating that customers who bought their fishing or hunting licenses or tags before 2008 may have had their information compromised in the data breach.  The breach affected Texas based Active Network that handles Idaho Fish & Game's online sales.

There's no official word on how many people were affected by the hack or if the information fell into the wrong hands.  IFG recommends monitoring your accounts for signs of identity theft.

Online sales are still shut down, but there are many brick and mortar locations across the state where you can purchase your licenses or tags.
