I saw the signs for this all over the Greenbelt during my run and am so stoked for this!

Through the generosity of the Micron Foundation, the Discovery Center is opening it's doors to the public for FREE on Sunday, August 28th! The day revolves around the fundamentals of math through games and hands on exhibits.  Kids in grades K-6 even have a chance to score some prizes for putting their thinking caps on.

Visitors can also check out the Idaho Power History gallery that closes on September 13th and "Zap" current exhibit that will be at the Discovery Center through early November.

The FREE day at the Discovery Center includes extended hours.  They're open from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Sunday.
