How did I miss this, AGAIN?!

My friend Kimberly is volunteering at the Albertsons Boise Open at Hill Crest Country Club so for the second year in a row, I begged her to figure out how to get me into the Pro-Am Dinner on Tuesday night. She may have some caddy friends, she may have volunteered at golf tournaments around the country...but unfortunately didn't have enough pull to sneak me an invitation. (In fact, she didn't get in either.  She ended up playing trivia at the Tailgate with me last night while the dinner was happening.)

So if you're unfamiliar with the Boise Open, you might be scratching your head as to why I'd want to go to a golf dinner so bad.  Over the past few years, the Boise Open has had a history of surprising guests and pro-golfers at the dinner.  In 2015, it was Keith Urban.  Last year? Boise Music Festival alums, The Band Perry.  I wanted to be there in case lighting struck a third time.

For some reason, I thought the dinner was on Thursday night, but when I came home I saw a video our general manager posted on his Facebook page.  That's when it hit me that I missed it and the surprise performer...AGAIN! After I watched the video, I just had to confirm that's what I was watching. So I typed: "Pro-am dinner?" I woke up to a comment back from him "Yup, it was a fun night!" I'm sure it was. I wish I could've scored an invite too. 😭

So who crashed the party this year? 8 time ACM, 7 time CMA and 2 time GRAMMY winners...Little Big Town! They performed for the intimate crowd of 500 last night. Here's some video and pictures from around the Twittersphere from those who were lucky enough to be there.
