This has been one of my favorite restaurants in the Treasure Valley since I moved here six years ago and I can't wait to see what they add to the menu!

Flatbread Neapolitan Pizzeria is preparing to open their new location in the Eagle Island Marketplace at Chinden and Linder late next month.  According to the Idaho Statesman the location they're taking over used to be occupied by Bono's.

Because the new space has a larger kitchen, this location will allow the staff to add more items to the menu they're adapting from the Downtown Boise eatery.  Flatbread is famous for baking pizzas at over 800 degrees in a fine tuned wood oven.  It addition to their pizzas and flatbreads, their menu already includes appetizers like steamed clams, prosciutto wrapped prawns, chicken wings and Sicilian meatballs, salads, pasta dishes and the best macaroni and cheese in the Treasure Valley.

Flatbread's owner tells the Statesman that they'd like to see a Calabrian chile burger added to the menu and they're working on a new pepper bacon jam to add to dishes.

This location will also have a full bar (try the Raspberry Lemon Drop!) which is something it's Bown Crossing location doesn't have.

Can't wait till this new location opens? Check out Flatbread now in Downtown Boise in the Eight & Main tower, Bown Crossing or Meridian!
