The Snake River Stampede celebrates a 100 years along with raising over $600,000 for Treasure Valley women in need of mammograms. Since 2006 when the Stampede for the Cure started, the Rodeo designates Wednesday night as pink night. The cowboys and cowgirls wear pink to show their support, along with a sea of pink in the stands.

This is the second year of the Pink on the Dirt Luncheon. The luncheon was held on Wednesday morning from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. This luncheon and fashion show takes place on the arena floor. The fashion show features rodeo queens & contests, breast cancer survivors, doctors, nurses, and staff from St. Luke’s and Saint Alphonsus Hospitals. Proceeds benefit Stampede for the Cure and Miss Rodeo Idaho, Inc. Scholarships.
