Yum! If just talking about Five Guys Burgers and Fries makes your mouth water then you definitely have experienced their burger and fry-making goodness. If their fries have always tasted extra delicious to you, then it's because you also know the quality of Idaho potatoes is top notch. Yeah, that's right, Five Guys Burgers and Fries is supplied with the best potatoes in the world and they come from right here in our Gem State!

Although Five Guys creator, Jerry Murrell says it's a "pain in the neck", to get them from Idaho it must be worth it. Murrel told Inc:

Potatoes are like oak trees -- the slower they grow, the more solid they are. We like northern potatoes, because they grow in the daytime when it is warm, but then they stop at night when it cools down.

Even though it would be cheaper to get them elsewhere, I think the quality is worth it. So just how many potatoes are exported to Five Guys locations all over the country? According to ABC, it's about 1.3 million pounds per week!

Despite the fry hookup, Idaho only has six locations, with two here in the Treasure Valley (Boise and Meridian).
