Christmas Wish 2017 is over, and we want to thank Pioneer Federal Credit Union who powered it, you for your generous donations, and KTVB Newschannel 7 for covering it.

Maggie O'Mara reached out to us and shared that she had personally been impacted by the power of Christmas Wish, and wanted to highlight the incredible things you have done through your generosity this year.

In total, we granted over 50 Christmas Wishes to neighbors in need, including families who will likely be losing someone to cancer, a single mom who is deploying overseas, and even an entire classroom of fifth-graders nominated by their teacher.

Michelle and I both were deeply humbled to be able to be a part of this again this year, and were so happy to see even more donations come in during Miracle Marathon Day Wednesday.  That enabled us to grant more wishes off the air Thursday and Friday.

We have to thank your partners, PFCU, and everyone who took the time to nominate someone in need.  Most of all though, we have to thank you if you took the time to make a donation, and make Christmas brighter for someone who needed it.

I said it to Maggie in the video, but I hope you know I was saying it to you.  I'm grateful for the chance to be there on your behalf, and honored to get to deliver a little hope.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
