Happy Mother's Day!  Got a quirky mom?  This weekend we're celebrating the quirks, the playfulness, the discipline, the organization, and thoughtfulness, and the love. And the most important things our moms have ever done for us.  Here's mine.

It's a good thing we have the Easter Bunny to be fair and neutral in dishing out the candy, because parents and kids tend to pick different favorites.  I think my kids are weird for liking the stuff they like!  What's your favorite?

A Kindle can keep kids occupied for an entire grocery store trip.  I love it! But if you've got a Kindle an you ignore this mandatory update from Amazon, you may start getting error messages on your beloved e-reader and it will become a blank slate, and suddenly the kids are climbing in and out of the cart and pulling fruity snacks off the shelves again.  Give us that update.
